  • Girl Scouts of America

Two parts of the tour to this historic site:

  • Tour of the Museum showcasing Bolling and Wilson furniture, letters, memorabilia, photos, and special exhibits.

  • Visit the birthplace and childhood home of First Lady Mrs. Wilson located on the second floor of the Bolling Building. This is the oldest commercial building in the Town of Wytheville. While the Bolling Home has not been restored, many of the original features of the home where the Bollings lived from 1866 – 1899 are original including wallpaper, fireplaces, mantels, and flooring. In many ways, it looks as if the Bollings just walked out the door!

  • Special Programming: Our Living History Program is one the Museum's most sought after and highly requested of all our programming.  Betsy Ely, who portrays First Lady Mrs. Wilson has years of theater experience, and she truly embodies the spirit of Edith Bolling Wilson.  If you would like the first lady to speak to your group, email [email protected] or call 276-223-3484.
