Tuesdays through Saturdays 
10:00 am. to 4:00 pm.
For tours outside of those hours, please call (276) 223-3484 to schedule.


Closed on major holidays.

​There is no admission fee for individuals to visit the museum or tour the birthplace home; however, donations are greatly appreciated! 
Groups of 10 or more, please call ahead for  information and arrangements.

The museum is conveniently located in Downtown Wytheville, across the street from the Bolling Wilson Hotel.

The museum is easily accessible from Interstates 77 and 81, about two hours north of Charlotte, North Carolina, and one hour south of Roanoke, Virginia. 

Accessibility Options

The Edith Bolling Wilson Birthplace Museum is proud to announce that, thanks to the generosity of the Wythe-Bland Foundation, we now offer Listen Technology assistive listening and communication devices, available upon request, to all our visitors.
In addition, our videos now include closed captioning for the hearing impaired, as well as for those who speak Spanish (Hablamos Español).
