Group Tours

Please note that, due to COVID-19, tour groups are limited to a maximum size of 6 participants at this time. This is one of several health and safety measures we're taking to protect our guests, volunteers, and staff.

Tour the Birthplace Historic Site

Take a guided tour with your group of the Bolling Family home and birthplace of First Lady Edith Bolling Wilson. Although the historic site is currently not restored, the home presents unique architectural details existing from the Bolling’s time in Wytheville. Inside the modest second-floor residence, the story of Edith Bolling Wilson and her family will be shared by guides and through audio tours.

The tour includes a short introductory video to the life of Edith Bolling Wilson and time to look at Bolling Family artifacts on view and shopping in the museum’s gift nook. Groups of 12 or more can request one of our living history performances by President and Mrs. Wilson or Young Edith Bolling. The tour is $5 per person and $3 for students under the age of 18.

Lunch Options

The museum frequently works with Graze on Main and Skeeter's World Famous Hot Dogs to accommodate lunch for groups. Give the museum a call to discuss dining options.
