NEW for 2022! The Edith Bolling Wilson Birthplace Museum will offer tours of the museum and birthplace home in French language. These tours must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance, due to the limited availability of our French-speaking docent. Email info@edithbollingwilson.org to schedule a tour in French!

Nouveau en 2022, le Musée du Lieu de Naissance d’Edith Bolling Wilson offrira des visites en français.  Il faut demander les visites du musée et de la maison où Madame Wilson est née au moins 48 heures d’avance à cause de la disponibilité limitée du guide qui parle français.  Pour fixer la date de votre visite, envoyez un mail à info@edithbollingwilson.org.  Merci et passez une bonne journée.

Tuesdays through Saturdays 
10:00 am. to 4:00 pm.
For tours outside of those hours, please call (276) 223-3484 to schedule.


Closed on major holidays.

​There is no admission fee for individuals to visit the museum or tour the birthplace home; however, donations are greatly appreciated! 
Groups of 10 or more, please call ahead for  information and arrangements.

The museum is conveniently located in Downtown Wytheville, across the street from the Bolling Wilson Hotel.

The museum is easily accessible from Interstates 77 and 81, about two hours north of Charlotte, North Carolina, and one hour south of Roanoke, Virginia.
